Hello!
I'm Jessie

I’m a graphic designer who loves making sense of ideas and turning them into clear, thoughtful visual stories. I’m naturally detail-oriented and enjoy the small design decisions that quietly make everything work better.

I found my way into design in an unexpected place—putting together college science lab manuals—where I fell in love with layout and discovered the power of good structure and typography. Working in print taught me how thoughtful design can make even complex information feel approachable, and that foundation still shapes how I work today.

Print is where my heart is. Magazine design, in particular, is what I’m most drawn to—careful typography, strong editorial layouts, and the rhythm of turning pages. Over the past few years as a Creative Director, I’ve led projects from idea to finished piece, always valuing collaboration, clarity, and creative problem-solving.

When I’m not designing, I’m usually outside with my husband and our two sons. I feel most at home up north at our tiny cabin with no running water or canoe-camping in the Boundary Waters, where quiet and simplicity spark my creativity. I also love working with my hands through watercolor, fiber art, drawing, and photography—slower, tactile ways to stay connected to the creative process.

Family is my fuEl

My family is my greatest inspiration. Together with my husband and our two sons, we explore the wilderness and marvel at all the tiny wonders life has to offer. Those moments of curiosity, laughter, and discovery fuel my creativity and remind me why paying attention to the small details matters—in design and in life.
