Polaroid Film Package

For a structural design challenge, I was chosen by a client to create an innovative display package to hold his vintage Polaroid film. The client and I discussed the direction he hoped to go in for the function and design of the package; then I began to sketch ideas. I presented him with a few options and was excited that he was interested in the camera shaped package idea I developed.

I used ArtiosCAD to create the die-line for the body of the package and the removable tray. I then cut a prototype out on the cutting table to ensure the two parts fit together properly. Once the die-line was finalized, I imported the file into Adobe Illustrator and created the graphics and illustrations. I also used illustrator to design a Polaroid photo pull tab that you use to open the tray and access the film.
